Everyday Safer is a suite of evidence-based road safety education programs driven by the Road Safety Commission.

Everyday Safer aims to engage and educate Western Australian road users across a range of ages and stages to help them develop safer attitudes and behaviours. Our programs amplify existing programs to address behaviour change gaps.

Immersive and engaging programs

Road Smart Kickstart, targeted at Year 7 and 8 students in regional WA, is the first program being delivered under Everyday Safer. Everyday Safer will continue to grow, with more exciting programs coming soon, including a Year 9 incursion.

Inspiring positive behaviour of all road users

Everyday Safer is designed to complement existing road safety education programs available in WA and is an action of the Western Australia Road Safety Action Plan 2024-2026.

More broadly, the program aligns to Driving Change - Road Safety Strategy for Western Australia 2020-2030, which aims to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on WA roads.
