The Road Smart Grant program enables students to apply their incursion learnings develop and deliver a project that will positively impact road safety behaviour in their local community.

Grants at a glance

  • Opportunity for positive road safety attitudes and behaviours to be more deeply embedded in local community

Power Up Grants

Up to $500 per project

Ideal for small school community centred projects, these grants have the shortest processing time, with multiple grant ‘packages’ available to apply for.

Change Maker Grants

Up to $2,500 per project

Geared to allow for more creativity in your project planning, but still perfect for smaller projects that might start to target your surrounding community as well.

Change Master Grants

Up to $5,000 per project

Created for more comprehensive projects, the Change Master Grants are most like the Road Safety Commission Community Initiative grants – making them perfect for pilot projects.
